Introduction
Iotula most closely resembles Pseudiotula but differs by having tighter coiling, higher spire and almost closed umbilicus.

Diagnosis
Shell minute, trochoidal with high domed spire; protoconch with spiral lirae, teleoconch sculptured with moderately spaced radial ribs and fine spiral threads; umbilicus almost closed. Colour waxy to resinous brown.
