Holotype ANIC No. 9117 soldier, Unumgar State Forest near Mt Lindesay (as Mt Lindsay) near Queensland border, NSW.
Paratype(s) ANIC series No. 10 3362 nymphs, soldier, worker (type colony; the brachypterous neotenic that Hill mentioned in the original description is missing, and series No. 10 3362 also contains two soldiers of Coptotermes acinaciformis).Type locality references:
