Adult: parasitic (host(s): Siganus doliatus Cuvier, 1830 [SIGANIDAE] Barred Spinefoot; Siganus rivulatus Forsskål, 1775 [SIGANIDAE] Marbled Spinefoot (note that this species is now excluded from the Australian fauna, so record may be a misidentification); Siganus fuscescens (Houttuyn, 1782) [SIGANIDAE] Mottled Spinefoot).
