Comment: (Butler in the original description listed two specimens; Waterhouse, G.A. 1936. [unpublished personal manuscript of observations made at the BMNH (Satyridae, Nymphalidae)]. Photocopy located at ANIC, Canberra, ACT. [10] (stated that he could not find the original specimen from NW Australia in the BMNH and that the specimen that Butler listed from Moreton Bay was in reality a north-western Australian specimen collected by MacGillivray and that Butler's locality of Moreton Bay was without justification; Riley, N.D. & Gabriel, A.G. 1924.
