Species Hydra oligactis Pallas, 1766
Introduction
Hydra oligactis is a brown temperate species found in Australian freshwater ponds, springs, unpolluted streams, rivers, and the littoral zone of lakes at depths exceeding 1.5m (Williams, 1980).
