Introduction
This is a small subfamily comprising mostly medium to large braconids, that are sometimes difficult to distinguish. However, some species can be recognised by having only two submarginal cells in the fore wing, and an anal cross-vein in the hind wing.
The subfamily is worldwide in distribution, with two described species from Australia plus a number of undescribed taxa. Homolobines are endoparasitoids of lepidopteran larvae.
