Status unknown, BMNH ('In Brit. Mus. three spms probably types but not so marked "Oscilla ligata". Angas. Botany Bay, south side" (Hedley, ms)), Botany Bay, NSW. - Hinemoa rubra Laseron, C. 1959. The family Pyramidellidae (Mollusca) from northern Australia. Australian Journal of Marine and Freshwater Research 10: 177-267, figs 1-213 [207, fig. 71].

Holotype AM C.105293, QLD, Great Barrier Reef, Capricorn Group, Heron Is [23°26'S, 151°57'E].
