  Comment: Waterhouse in the original description mentioned nine males and also stated that the types of the races were in the AM; Peters, J.V. 1971. Greenwich, NSW : Australian Entomological Press 36 pp. [21] (type information); Couchman, L.E. 1965. Notes on some Tasmanian and Australian Lepidoptera-Rhopalocera. II. Pap. Proc. R. Soc.
