Introduction
Toussaint et al. (2022) revised the higher classification of the Trapezitinae based on a robust molecular phylogeny which resulted in a number of nomenclatural changes concerning genera, species and subspecies. These nomenclatural changes include the synonymy of the genera Motasingha Watson, 1893 and Oreisplanus Waterhouse & Lyell, 1914 under Hesperilla Hewitson, 1868.
