Genus Hemileius Berlese, 1916
- Hemileius Berlese, A. 1916. Centuria terza di Acari nuovi. Redia. Giornale di entomologia, Firenze 12: 289-338 [first introduced as a subgenus of Oribatula Berlese, 1896].
Introduction
Lee (1986) listed several undescribed species of Hemileius, but these were later described by Lee (1989). A further unidentified species was reported by Walter (1999).
