Comment: The specimen found and labelled as “type” is remarkably different from the specimen figured by Crosse and Fischer and must not be considered as belonging to the type series. On the basis of the original description and figure, T. pfeifferi should be considered a junior synonym of Triphoris scitulus. (Albano 2019, Page 180, Fig. 16).
