Diagnosis

Trunk with posterior swollen segment ridges; proboscis massive, spindle-shaped, distally pointed, or semi-cylindrical and distally rounded or truncate; chelifores completely lacking; palps 10-segmented, long, with tiny distal segments; ovigers 10- segmented, strigilis well developed with rows of compound spines and terminal claw with a serrate lateral edge; legs like Colossendeis.
