Ecological Descriptors

Larva: herbivore (associated flora: Mucuna gigantea (Willd.) DC. [FABACEAE] Velvet Bean).

Extra Ecological Information

Eggs are laid singly on upper surface of leaves of food plant, larva builds distinctive silk-lined shelters in leaflets of food plant, pupa in last larval shelter, adult flight is rapid and energetic in openings and margins of rainforest, recorded most months of the year.
