     Holotype NZAC adult (sex not given), York Bay, Wellington Harbour, New Zealand.
    Paratype(s) NZAC ♂ 3♀ adults (specimens seen and dissected by Thornton, I.W.B. 1962. Note on the genitalia of two New Zealand Philotarsids (Insecta: Psocoptera). New Zealand Journal of Science 5(2): 241–245 8 figs [242]); NZAC 4 specimens (in bad condition, seen but not dissected by compiler, see Smithers, C.N. 1969. The Psocoptera of New Zealand. Records of the Canterbury Museum 8(4): 259–344 211 figs [320]).
