Extra Distribution Information

Swan River, Houtman Abrolhos, Herald Reef, Mary Anne Is., Monte Bello Is., Darwin Harbour, Bynoe Harbour, Wessel Is., Parry Shoals, Melville Is. Halichondria phakellioides is widely distributed through the Northwest Australian Shelf and Sahul Shelf provinces. It is found from the intertidal to 20 m depth (Alvarez & Hooper 2011).

Australian Endemic.
