Family HEXABRANCHIDAE Bergh, 1891
Introduction
The family comprises the single genus Hexabranchus, with just two species. The genus occurs across the tropical Indo-West Pacific and as least 20 names have been given to the many forms. Valdes (2002) provides the most recent morphological study of the genus.
