Superfamily HETEROCHORDEUMATOIDEA Pocock, 1894
Introduction
One of four superfamilies within the suborder Heterochordeumatidea. Heterochordeumatoidea includes all known Australian and many Pacific Rim chordeumatidans, in the five families Eudigonidae, Heterochordeumatidae, Megalotylidae, Metopidiotrichidae and Peterjohnsiidae (Shear 2000; Hoffman 1980). Only the latter two families are so far known from Australia.
