Adults and juveniles: aquatic, freshwater, sanguinivore.
Diagnosis
Five dorsal stripes, stripes are reddish in colour and lined by a black border, background is black, brown or olive in colour, salivary papillae on jaws, 15 5-annulate somies, vagina simple with a small caecum and without an elongated vaginal duct.
