Ecological Descriptors
Larva: lerp-former, sap-sucker (associated flora: Eucalyptus radiata DC., 1828 [MYRTACEAE] Narrow-leaved Peppermint; Eucalyptus pauciflora niphophila (Maiden & Blakely) L.A.S.Johnson & Blaxell [MYRTACEAE] Snow Gum; Eucalyptus pulchella Desf. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus nitida J.D.Hook. [MYRTACEAE]; Eucalyptus pauciflora Sieber ex Sprengel [MYRTACEAE]).
Extra Ecological Information
On Eucalyptus ?amygdalina, E. pulchella and E. nitida (as E. simmondsii, now a junior synonym of E. nitida) in TAS, E. pauciflora subsp. niphophila (as E. niphophila, now a subspecies of E. pauciflora) in ACT, E. pauciflora in NSW, and E. radiata in VIC; also recorded from 'E. stellata' which is probably E. stellulata in NSW; forms round lerps.
