Benthic, mangrove, marine, sandy mud bottom.

Extra Ecological Information

In shallow burrows in sandy or muddy pools covered at half tide, shaded by mangroves in association with Ptychodera flava, also dredged from muddy bottom, 3.5–12 fathoms offshore.
