[257] (Note #461: Genduara Walker, 1856. The genus, type species Genduara cinerea Walker, 1856, was described in the Psychidae and has not been recognized since. Walker's description agrees with a worn female of Entometa punctigera Walker, 1855, except that the larva is not in a case and the antennae are pectinate to the tips. Walker's description of Mecytha trimacula Walker, 1855 (the female of punctigera Walker) is identical except that, as the holotype is a good specimen, more detail is included. There is a worn female of punctigera from the Saunders collection at the HOPE labelled 'N.S.W.' but it is not marked as a type or otherwise identified. Swinhoe (1900) stated that the type was lost. Walker's description fits no other Australian insect)
