Compiler and date details

16 February 2011 - Murray J. Fletcher

Introduction

This subfamily includes three Australian species in two genera. One is the Pandanus Planthopper, Jamella australiae Kirkaldy, which has become a pest of Pandanus trees on the New South Wales north coast. Species of Flatoidinae tend to be cryptically coloured and have the tegmina and wings held flat rather than tectiform as in the Flatinae.

Diagnosis
