Family FLABELLINIDAE Bergh, 1889
Introduction
Aeolid nudibranchs in which a slender notal brim, or traces of it, is often present along each side of the body. The cerata are always dorsal to the notal brim, with the anus below. The rhinophores can be simple and smooth, or papillate all round or only on the rear face, or annulate. The radula comprises a denticulate central tooth with one (rarely two) smooth or denticulate tooth each side. All species feed on hydroids.
