Nest in dead, dry stems (Rosa L. [Rosaceae], Rubus L. [Rosaceae], Senecio L. [Asteraceae]), fronds (Cyathea Smith [Cyatheaceae], Dicksonia L'Hérit. [Dicksoniaceae]), two or more adult females may be present in one nest, not all females lay eggs, all immature stages found in the communal chamber, larvae fed progressively, flower visiting record: Leucopogon R.Br. [Epacridaceae].
