Nest in galls (formed by Ethon (Coleoptera: Buprestidae) on plant stems (Pultenaea Sm. [Fabaceae]), two or more adult females may be present in one nest, not all females lay eggs, all immature stages found in the communal chamber, larvae fed progressively, flower visiting record: Angophora Cav. [Myrtaceae], Bursaria Cav. [Pittosporaceae], Calytrix Lab. [Myrtaceae], Jacksonia Smith [Fabaceae], Leptospermum Forster & G.Forster [Myrtaceae].
