Species Eurhopalus yorkensis (Blackburn, 1891)

 

Introduction

Ślipiński et al. (2023) speculates that Blackburn (1981) only had a single specimen while preparing his description of this species, and suggested that the specimen was a male bearing 4-segmented club. However, all examined types, except one, were female, and the only male they examined was missing both antennae, leaving them unable to place it with the available key.

Ecological Descriptors

Adult: terrestrial, volant.
