Diagnosis

Body elongate and flattened. Head quadrate to broadly trapezoidal, with vertexal foveae nude, lateral arms of vertexal sulcus nearly parallel then abruptly transverse at short, sharply defined interantennal bridge. Pronotum with median discal impression, antebasal foveae distinct, with antebasal sulcus connecting them; lateral margins smoothly denticulate adjacent to lateral antebasal foveae; with anteroprosternal foveae. Elytra with 2-4 basal foveae, with subhumeral fovea. Lateral metasternal foveae lacking. Visible tergites 1-2 (IV-V) with setose impressions between mediobasal foveae at bases of discal carinae; 4 (VII) longest, 1-3 (IV-VI) subequal in length.
