[FABACEAE] Wild Cow Pea; Cajanus reticulatus (Aiton) F.Muell. [FABACEAE]; Sesbania sp. [FABACEAE]; Phaseolus vulgaris L. [FABACEAE]).

Extra Ecological Information

Introduced plants include Cajanus cajan, Macroptilium atropurpureum, M. lathyroides, Phaseolus vulgaris, Vigna unguiculata (Fabaceae).

Type data: syntypes ZMK sex unknown*; Fabricius in the original description did not indicate the number of specimens described; described from the Daldorff collection; Zimsen, E. 1964. The Type Material of I.C. Fabricius. Copenhagen : Munksgaard 656 pp. [581] (listed a single specimen at Kiel and two in Copenhagen); Edwards, E.D., Newland, J. & Regan, L. 2001. Lepidoptera: Hesperioidea, Papilionoidea. In Wells, A. & Houston, W.W.K. Zoological Catalogue of Australia. Vol. 31.6. Melbourne : CSIRO Publishing, Australia. x 615 pp. (specimens listed by Zimsen (1964) are treated as syntypes here although further work may show that one is a holotype).
Type locality: Eastern India (India orientali designated in original description).
