Extra Distribution Information
Indo-west Pacific: Sagami Bay to Tosa Bay, Japan, south to Australia. Distribution in Australia based on Wilson (1993). Occurrence in NT not supported by AMS collection. Wilson (1993) also reported this species as far south as Port Stephens, NSW, but that is based on a single specimen, location probably mis-identified, in the Australian Museum collection. The southern limit in Queensland is Keppel Bay.
