Collingwood : CSIRO Publishing Vol. 4 xiv 529 pp. & CD-ROM. [231] (Note #351: Epiplema conflictaria (Walker, 1861) was described from two syntypes one from Ceram and one from Borneo. Holloway (1979) discusses this species and concludes that the species occurring in Queensland is not E. conflictaria (Walker) and is undescribed. However, Barlow (1982) in a publication prepared in close collaboration with Holloway uses E. conflictaria (Walker) in the broad sense to include populations from Sri Lanka and India to the Solomon Islands. The name E. conflictaria (Walker) has been retained [by Edwards (1996)] until the situation is clarified. E. conflictavia (Walker, 1861), E. diffinaria (Walker, 1861) and E. exprimataria (Walker, 1861) were published simultaneously. As first reviser Hampson (1895: 129) gave priority to E. conflictaria (Walker))
