Introduction
This species differs from the only known congener, the Eucalyptus galling Eocincticornia malarskii Kolesik, 1995 in the male genitalia: the teeth on the gonostylus are blunt in E. australasiae and acute in E. malarskii (Kolesik & Gagné 2016).
