[348] (Note #182: Endoxyla duponchelii (Newman,1856). The holotype of this species has not been found. Turner (1945c) recorded it as a senior synonym of E. tenebrifer (Walker, 1856) but the type locality is, as far as is at present known, outside the range of E. tenebrifer. It may be a small specimen of E. encalypti Herrich-Schäffer, [1854]. It is here listed separately for the time being)
