The Australian species included in Parasa Moore by Turner (1926c) and Hering (1931) were excluded by Holloway (1986). Eloasa is the oldest name available to accommodate these species. Eventually, revisionary work will show that some species should be referred elsewhere. In the WADA there is a specimen labelled as coming from Wyndham, W.A. which would be correctly placed in Parasa Moore. It [was] not been identified to species and [was] not been included in the Checklist)
