Notes
"Blakemore (2002: 312) recently synonymised this species with E. fetida. However, Pérez-Losada et al. (2005: 317) were able to distinguish the two species on the basis of DNA sequences, and Dominguez et al. (2005) separated them on the basis of biological traits" (Christoffersen, 2011: 155)
