Family EDWARDSIIDAE Andres, 1881

Diagnosis

Nyantheae lacking basilar muscles, acontia, and marginal sphincter. Elongate body with at least two regions: long scapus with epidermis and scapulus. May also possess rounded physa at aboral end and capitulum at oral end of column. Mesenteries divisible into 8 macrocnemes and at least 4 microcnemes.
