- Echinaster glomeratus Clark, H.L. 1916. I. Report on the sea-lilies, starfishes, brittle-stars and sea-urchins obtained by the F.I.S. Paratype(s) AM E6789 2 specimens, off Cape Marsden, Kangaroo Is., SA; MCZ 2 specimens. - Echinaster glomeratus extremus Clark, H.L. 1928. The sea-lilies, sea-stars, brittle-stars and sea-urchins of the South Australian Museum. Records of the South Australian Museum (Adelaide) 3(4): 361-482 figs 108-142 [396, fig. 114] [as Echinaster glomeratus var. extremus].
