Comment: Author G. Malcolm (pers. comm. 2013) indicated there are 3 types in NMHUK that match shells from South Africa, so the Australian locality for the type is doubtful. - Pervicacia helenae Cotton, B.C. 1952. Introduction
Author G. Malcolm (Pers. Comm. 2013) reports "of have not seen any specimens of typical Duplicaria fictilis from Australia. There are 3 types in NHMUK which match shells found in South Africa. The typical form is close to Terebra jacksoniana.
