Ecological Descriptors

Adult: terrestrial.

Audlt: predator.

 

Diagnosis

Length 2.4-2.6 mm. Body with decumbent setae. Head with interantennal bridge deeply depressed at middle between prominent antennal tubercles. Pronotum with lateral margins deeply incised adjacent to lateral antebasal foveae; prosternum with median carina. Abdomen with discal carinae of visible tergites 1-2 (IV-V) extending at least half tergal lengths, deeply depressed and setose between carinae, distance between carinae slightly more than one-third width of tergite discs. Male eyes with about 40 facets; antennomeres VIII slightly enlarged to suggest a weakly formed club of 4 antennomeres; antennomeres IX-X dorsally excavate near apices; antennomeres XI flattened on venter near bases. Female eyes with about 40 facets.
