Lectotype NMV F40292 (formerly G292) mature (but aclitellate) specimen (dissected) (described as being in 'a very refractory condition and yields no useful information' (Jamieson 1974; 258); designated as a lectotype by Blakemore (2000)), Lake St Clair, Central Tasmania [42°05'S 146°10'E].
