Ecological Descriptors
Adult: volant.
Diagnosis
A single row of 3 spines near middle of front tibia; hind tarsi swollen; rostrum short, not developed beyond bases of antennae. Pile of thorax pale yellow; legs all dark coloured, typically black or dark brown with tinge of rufous on tibiae and tarsi. Male genitalia with claspers beak-like on inner margins; female cerci fused on middle line for c. two thirds their length; 9th tergum square on lateral margins.
