Ecological Descriptors
Adult: volant.
Diagnosis
Rostrum elongate, and with 2:3 arrangement of spines on dorsomedian portion of front tibia. Pile of body and legs all black; wings tinged yellowish to brownish yellow with posterior veins pale brown, very distinct from membrane; hind tarsi only slightly swollen, with basitarsus 3.5 times longer than wide and much narrower than tibia; 2 sets of spines rather close together at middle of the tibia. Male claspers rounded at apex.
