Ecological Descriptors
Adult: volant.
Diagnosis
2 sets of spines on dorsomedian surface of front tibia (2: 3). Differs from all other known species of Dilophus from Australia by having the wings distinctly bicoloured, in combination with predominantly yellow legs of male and very slightly inflated hind tarsi.
