Extra Distribution Information
Type-locality: 'Tasmania', probably was actually Sydney. Syntype series in MNHN. Dr G. H. Hardy (1929) reported that the majority, if not all, of Macquart's Diptera listed in his fourth supplement from Tasmania, were actually from Sydney.
