Subgenus Dermomurex (Viator) Vokes, 1974
- Viator Vokes, E.H. 1974. A new species and subgenus of Australian Dermomurex (Gastropoda: Muricidae). Journal of the Malacological Society of Australasia 3(1): 1-5 [4].
Type species:
Dermomurex (Viator) antonius E.H. Vokes, 1974 by original designation (Dermomurex antonius is cited as the type species of Viator in the abstract (p. 1) of the work containing its description, but in the text itself (p. 4) Murex inermis G.B. Sowerby II, 1834, is fixed as the type; this is a lapsus, as the same Murex inermis is cited as the type species of Takia on the preceding page).
