Comment: Fabricius in the original description did not indicate the number of specimens described, he stated that he described the species from the Banks collection; Zimsen (1964: 513) indicated that there was a single specimen in the Banks collection); Talbot, G. 1937. Comment: Talbot in the original description designated one male and two females as types, therefore other specimens mentioned were excluded from the type series.
