Diagnosis

Head with large vertexal foveae; lacking frontal rostrum; ocular canthi developed as large plates that nearly divide eyes in half; clypeus broadly lobed laterally; maxillary palpi with second segments thickened, third segments bluntly triangular, fourth segments triangular and much smaller, inserted on mesal margins of third segments. Pronotum with large median and lateral antebasal foveae. Abdomen with visible tergite 1 (IV) longest.
