Suborder DYSPNOI Hansen & Sorensen, 1904

Introduction

Groh & Giribet (2015) reviewed the superfamily Caddoidea and found most of the southern hemisphere genera fell outside their traditional placement in the Eupnoi, forming a sister group to the Dyspnoi. They resurrected the family Acropsopilionidae, previously placed as a subfamily in Eupnoi, to accommodate these genera in the Dyspnoi. This is the arrangement followed here.
