Introduction
Only a single species of this small family is known from Australia. Tinagma leucanthes Meyrick was described from specimens collected at Sydney in 1879 and is also known from Stradbroke Island, southern Queensland.
The family includes only two genera and about 25 species of which most occur in the Palaearctic (Gaedike 1974; Agassiz 1985).
