Family DISCODORIDIDAE Bergh, 1891
Introduction
Discodorids are oval in shape, lowly convex, with wide mantle overhang and generally narrow foot. Minute projecting spicules, usually mounted in short, cylindrical close papillae or low, conical, well spaced papillae are present on the mantle. The upper lip of the anterior foot is notched below the mouth, and the oral tentacles are laterally grooved. A revision of the family is provided by Dayrat (2010). Compiled from Burn (in press).
