Family DENDRODORIDIDAE O'Donoghue, 1924
Introduction
Dendrodoridids are soft bodied nudibranchs, oval in outline and flatly or moderately convex in profile. They have no hard parts in the alimentary tract. Sponge tissues are dissolved externally by discharged enzymes, and the resulting fluids sucked in through the pharynx. There are many species world-wide, mostly in shallow water.
